Harp Course
Northern Harps are running a four day clarsach course near Esh village, Durham, led by Wendy Stewart on the 9th-12th August 2010 (Monday to Thursday). This is the third year we have run this course, and this year we're moving to a new location recommended to us by people who've stayed there while on the course before.
Wendy is a performer, teacher and writer of some of the best harp music in Scotland today. She performs and teaches the clarsach internationally, as well as recording and publishing her compositions. More details about Wendy can be found at her website.
The course will take place at Hamsteels Hall near the beautiful village of Esh only 6 miles from the historic city of Durham.
The course will cost £175, which will include four days of teaching, lunches and refreshments.
We will also be running social events and a trip to Durham, so please bring family, friends and other instruments.
